Who We Are
Our Mission
Elisha Trust was born out of a deeply personal journey. After walking through the valley of divorce and hardship, I encountered the sustaining presence of God in a new way.
The name Elisha means "God has empowered me." And that's exactly what we hope every woman connected to our charity will one day say.
Elisha Trust exists to help women - especially those who are divorced, widowed, or vulnerable - rise again with strength, purpose, and dignity. We will combine emotional support, practical resources, spiritual guidance, and business development to walk alongside women through transition and toward restoration.
Over 25 years ago, I went through a painful divorce while raising two young sons. My confidence and finances were shaken, and for a while, I felt invisible to the world around me.
But one thing never changed - my faith. Even in the darkest seasons, I knew I was seen and loved by God.
Through that experience, I developed a heart for other women who were struggling.
I began donating, volunteering, and encouraging those around me. That passion grew - and Elisha Trust was born.
Alongside my work as a senior HR professional and change leader, I've spent years helping people navigate challenges, transitions, and growth. Today, I use that same passion and experience to lead Elisha Trust with a vision to restore women's lives - spiritually, emotionally, and practically.

Elisha Trust has a global heart and a growing reach. From supporting a porridge vendor in Ghana with a newly built stall, to preparing empowerment workshops for women in the UK, our mission is unfolding with faith and intention.
We stay connected to every woman and business we support by checking in every six months to offer continued mentorship, prayer, and growth guidance.
